yarn galore!





Materials 
- Yarn 
Size U.S. 10½ (6.5 mm) knitting needles 
Cable needle (optional. I usually just have a back up needle) 



Abbreviations:
Beg = Beginning

C18F = Slip next 9 stitches onto cable needle and leave at front of work. (K1. P1) 4 times. K1. [(P1. K1) 4 times. P1] from cable needle.
= Knit
= Purl
Pat = Pattern
Rep = Repeat(ing)
RS = Right side
St(s) = Stitch(es)
Tog = Together
WS = Wrong side

Instructions:
Cast on 18 sts.
1st row (RS): *K1. P1. Rep from * to end of row.
Rep last row until work from beg measures 11" [28 cm], ending on a WS row.
Next row: C18F.
Next row: *K1. P1. Rep from * to end of row.
Rep last row until work from beg measures 22" [56 cm], ending on a WS row. Cast off in pat.
Sew ends tog.

These headbands are very easy to make I noticed that when I followed this pattern that it always tends to be on the bigger size so when you get to the part where they ask you to knit to 11", substitute that to 10" instead, its has a nicer fit than the given instructions. 

The decal can be added according to whatever you wish. You can sew on fake pearls/beads in my case I love needle felting so I needle felt this stuff.
